The devil is in the details. Challenges of being a large company are real, and I respect Anthropic for the uncommon grace they are navigating them with. Not every mitigation is created equal, and this one falls short.

It is normal to make mistakes in the new territory, this is likely one of them, not the first and not the last. I would like the feedback loop to be shorter and for less damage to be taken by everyone involved.
