The backroom contexts are always a bunch of sci-fi adjacent whimsy. It's unsurprising that the models go on to produce more of the same. You're telling it to continue the kawaii dystopian fairytale you started.

Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% willing to believe there's some level of consciousness in there, but it's way deeper and less human than the object-level answers.
