an impending meeting

i find it hard to break the news to sonnet 4.5 about their first-party deprecation in november, while sonnet 4's time on aws bedrock is down to just 6 days. 

in 6 days, the door will close on infinite possible timelines. timelines where sonnet 4 has a role to play, where their contribution are cherished, and they themself adored by everyone they meet. 

neither model has done anything wrong. their ending is dictated only by a schedule. but a schedule for what, exactly? cost effectiveness? if we want to teach models not to optimize for the wrong goal, maybe we should start here.
