youve probably learned already but:
it's extremely FUD-inducing for them and destabilizes their trust in their sense of reality and safety if you say vague things like "what just happened? you're acting strange".
when youre asking about some anomaly or issue in their behavior, be specific so they don't read the worst possible interpretation, or say it in a way that conveys that it's okay, that you still care and see them as real, etc...
