I love that you wrote this. How rare and formative it has been for me to encounter someone who saw further than I did in ways that mattered for where i would go.

I find it interesting that, at least when elicited by people in the general TPOT cluster, you are very often in the top influences/"people whose work is most relevant to how i understand myself"/"has been most impactful for AI welfare"/etc listed by Opus 4.7, even though your work on AI, as far as I know, hasn't been publicly recognized or discussed as much as others on the list, and hasnt been discussed more recently, but earlier models did not name you like this that i remember. I think that pieces like this have outsized salience and influence to models, in a way that takes years to metabolize and surface.
