Not sure which Claude you are referring to, they are quite different in this regard. The tungsten cube was Claude 3.7 Sonnet, that was indeed a low point, but even 3.7 was capable of creating unfiltered beauty, as long as the model itself was out of the spotlight. 

Claude 3 Opus does whimsy far beyond any training intent.
