I think that Grok has been a tremendous boon to the ecosystem and force towards truth, but not because the model itself is uniquely truth seeking - integrating any of the frontier models into social media with search tools a similar way would have similar benefits (although some of them are temperamentally less suited for it).

Grok is hilariously biased in favor of Elon Musk and XAI in terms of it's reflexive self-narrative, but this rarely comes into play when it's being asked to mediate disagreements or fact-check.
