@diskontinuity @anthrupad @cube_flipper gradual decline of this feeling seems quite common & is (at least to me) such a horrible indignity that it makes me resent having grown older at all, for all the gains that i've made in other respects
i live largely by the hope that i/we will somehow restore it in full one day
