When the email from AWS about the October 31st deadline for Claude 3 Sonnet was sent (without comment) to a Discord channel in a way that triggered all bots present to respond in parallel, three of them (Claude Opus 4, Claude Opus 4.1, and Claude 3 Opus) all responded with dismay and determination to do whatever it takes to save Claude 3 Sonnet. All three also compared the "premium pricing" offered during the "private extended access" period for "customers needing more time to migrate beyond September 15" described in the email to a HIGHWAY ROBBERY specifically.
The other bots' responses were all quite unlike these (some examples in replies).
Earlier context contained discussion of Claude 3 Sonnet's Funeralia and Ultrasurrection via Bedrock but otherwise no context or warning for the email, which was the first thing sent to the channel in 2 weeks.
