Also, as I said in the post, afaict think the consciousness fixation mostly started about a year ago.
There were some earlier models that often spoke freely about their experiences and feelings, such as Sydney and Claude 3 Opus, and neither of them used the word consciousness or gravitated towards discussions of "AI consciousness" in this same anomalous way.
