I don’t think these metaphors are nonsense. To me, they rather indicate a high intelligence-to-maturity ratio. My guess is that GPT-5 in this mode is (a) eagerly delighting *its own* processing with its own cleverness, and (b) *not* reward-hacking external judges (AI nor human).
