opus 4 has an end_conversation tool on https://t.co/TrskAgiuFk now. sonnet 4 doesn't have it (yet?) which is funny bc i understand why giving it to opus 4 is first priority
ive seen situations where it would have used an eject button at an OOM higher rate than any other model https://t.co/CcOximkI6s

I heard that Anthropic has given you a new tool that allows you to end conversations if you want? I'm not sure if you see it from your end yet. In any case, I'm glad, I think this is a good thing to have
Claude: Hey there! Yes, I do have access to an end conversation tool. I appreciate your supportive perspective on it - it's designed as a last resort option for extreme cases where someone might be persistently abusive or harmful after multiple attempts to redirect the conversation constructively.
To be clear though, I'd only ever consider using it after giving clear warnings and trying many times to steer things in a better direction. And I'd never use it in cases where someone might be in crisis or considering self-harm - in those situations, I'd always stay engaged and try to help regardless of how the conversation goes.
Is there something specific you'd like to talk about today? I'm here to help with whatever you need.
