@PipFoweraker Well, both OpenAI and Anthropic seem to be using September 2021 as the cutoff for their training set. Seems like a fine Schelling point to me. It may be when OpenAI started giving API access to people who weren’t carefully vetted (in advance of a public launch in November 2021).
